Diploma degree ( Senmonshi=専門士 ) and work visa in Japan
In the case a foreign national graduate from special training college ( Senmon gakko ), she can acquire diploma degree ( senmon shi = 専門士).
But, not all of special training college grant diploma degree. Some special training colleges are designated by Japanese government and they can grant diploma degree.
In the case a foreign national obtain diploma degree, if she can find her job in Japan, she can get status of residence of ” education ( kyoiku ) “, or ” engeener(gijutsu) “, or ” specialist in humanities / international service ( Jinbun chishiki / Kokusi gyomu )”.
However, relevance between what she studies in special training college and content of her job is strictly examined compared to in the case of bachelor degree ( Gakushi degree ) .
In order to obtain diploma degree, she needs to go to college for two or more than two years.

She submitted that she would work at computed related company and consulted with foreign customers and conduct translation of documents. Her monthly salary was 200,000 yen.

Then, the amount of her monthly salary is 220,000 yen and she engaged in making game software.
In order to making game software, her knowledge studied at college was necessary.
And the amount of her salary was as same as other Japanese national employees.
Thus, she could obtain status of residence for employment in Japan.
